Corrections and fact-checks
If you spot an error in a price quote, sanctions reference, legal procedure, or any data point, we want to know. Include the article URL and the specific claim you'd like us to check or update. Our policy is to update verified errors within 5 business days and credit the contributor (or keep it anonymous if you prefer).
Tips and on-the-ground intelligence
Many of our most useful updates have come from readers — a new fee schedule at a Colombian bank, a change at a Venezuelan registry, a new OFAC license interpretation, a Caracas inmobiliaria's current pricing. If you have first-hand information that would improve a guide, send it.
Partnership and advertising
We are exploring relationships with brokerages, remittance providers, property managers, attorneys, and other service providers that serve the Venezuelan diaspora. We maintain strict editorial independence — paid placements are clearly disclosed and do not affect comparison rankings.
Translation and content syndication

We're a publication, not a financial advisory. We can't give individualized investment, tax, legal, or sanctions advice. We're happy to point you toward the right type of professional or explain what to look for.
What not to write about
- Recovery scams. We do not assist with cryptocurrency recovery, sanctions-evasion structuring, or any inquiry related to bypassing OFAC. Such messages are not responded to.
- Sanctions-evasion structuring. Our editorial position is that OFAC compliance applies to US persons globally. We will not engage on evasion structuring.
- Bulk solicitation. Cold outreach mass-emails get filtered.

VenezuelaInvestor is independent. Nothing on this site is investment, legal, tax, or sanctions advice. We strive for accuracy on factual claims (prices, regulations, legal procedures) and clarity on opinion-based framing (recommendations, decision frameworks). Where we get something wrong, we correct it. Where we change our analysis, we note the date and reason.
